Making
dinner was a family
event in my house when I
was growing up. My
mother began introducing
my brother and me to
healthy, fresh,
well-balanced meals very
early in our lives.
We both developed a
bigger passion for food
than my mother had ever
envisioned.
My brother is now a
professional chef, and
when it came time for me
to introduce my son to
solid foods, I couldn’t
wait to make him
homemade meals using
fresh, organic produce.
But as a
full-time working
mother, it was difficult
to find the time each
day to prepare foods
from scratch. When I
needed a break, I
couldn’t find any
freshly made,
store-bought
alternatives that I felt
good about feeding him.
If I won’t eat it, why
would I feed it to my
baby, especially as his
first introduction to
the world of food!
With the guidance of
my brother and much
support from family,
friends and
professionals,
I have created Mom Made
Foods - choice organics
for children. Mom Made
